Description
The Crime Victims Fund was established in 1982 to address the needs of crime victims. Our “Emergency Victim Assistance Program” is our core program providing short-term, emergency financial aid to victims of crime for such necessities as food, shelter, transportation, medical expenses, burial fees and other critical needs related to the crime. Our program serves victims of crimes such as robberies, assault, domestic violence, child abuse, elder abuse, drunk driving, sexual assault, molestation, homicide and other violent and non-violent crimes. Since its inception over 26 years ago the Emergency Victim Assistance Program has provided assistance, comfort, and support to more than 9,000 victims of crime.
