Crescent View Charter High School (CVCHS) is an Personalized Learning Independent Study non-profit public charter high school. CVCHS students work at their own pace scheduling appointments with their own teacher face-to-face for further instruction. Most of these students were considered "at-risk of failure" however we view our students "at-need" and meet those needs by filling gaps in their prior education all the way to a diploma. Students become competent by studying one subject at a time and performing one credit's worth of work per week. If they do not pass at 60% they must redo all homework over with further instruction. We do not let students fail for more than a week, not semesters nor years. This personalized teaching and learning works. CVCHS could use your support to offer these students more teacher and tutor time.
