Description

This organization creates and/or buys enrichments and donates them to Zoos and other exotic animal facilities. By providing animals with Environmental Enrichment, we attempt to imitate the smells, sounds, sights and activities more in keeping with what the animals would experience in their natural habitat. This is achieved by adding to a captive animal’s environment or modifying that environment to stimulate behaviors resembling those of a healthy wild animal. Enrichment is intended to encourage behaviors that are appropriate for the species and satisfy the animal’s physical and psychological needs.

Our Mission Statement:
To enhance and promote species-typical behavior, while educating animal care providers and the public about Environmental Enrichment.

Creative Critters is an IRS approved 501(c)(3) organization established in May of 2005.
