Cracker Box Palace Farm Animal Haven was founded in 2000, and is a truly unique place in Wayne County, New York in that it is a no-kill shelter where farm animals of every kind can come to recover from illness, neglect or abuse, to learn they still have friends and family after abandonment, to ensure that beloved pets do not become meat, or just to find new people when their families can no longer care for them. All animals are given necessary veterinary care and provided with proper diets and supplements to get them back to health. Animals can be adopted by suitable owners, who are thoroughly screened.
We work with local and state law enforcement agencies on animal cruelty cases and also with the Wayne County Humane Society. The farm is currently home to 150+ animals. We are completely funded by donations, grants, and memberships. We receive no government funding.
