Description
Corpus Christi Sail AWAY(Adaptive Watersports for Adults and Youth) is a non-profit, community-based adaptive sailing program that allows persons with disability an opportunity to enjoy themselves in a sport they may not otherwise have the chance to participate. This is the first adaptive sailing program in the Coastal Bend and is an incredible opportunity to show support of the disabled in our community. In 3 years, CCSA has compiled 625 adaptive sailing hours, 2887 volunteer hours, 16 sailing Captains, and 7 solo adaptive sailors.
