Description
Coro's Southern California center was established in 1957 to serve the diverse communities of this region and has since trained 45 Coro Fellows Programs, 21 Coro Neighborhood Leadership Programs, 26 regional programs, 3 youth programs, and 11 programs targeted to women, African-Americans, Asian/Pacific-Americans, the Latino legal community, and retired adults. Coro graduates are engaged in exciting and influential efforts that have a lasting impact on the democratic governance of our communities. Over its 50 year history, Coro Southern California has received countless recognitions and commendations from federal, state and local elected officials and legislative bodies.
