Cornerstone Therapeutic Riding Center




Cornerstone Equestrian Center is a therapeutic riding center hosted at American Canyon Stables, 2300 American Canyon Road, American Canyon/Vallejo, California.

We are a non-profit therapeutic horseback riding center established in 1985 by a physically challenged woman named Terri Tanaka. Cornerstone provides horseback riding therapy for mentally, physically, and emotionally challenged individuals of all ages. Instructors Candy Tolle and Kari Ann Owen are accredited by the North American riding for the Handicapped Association. Candy began as a Cornerstone volunteer, and Kari Ann began as a Cornerstone student!
