Description
We are a small church located in St. Bernard Parish right outside of New Orleans, LA. During hurricane Katrina, the church was completely destroyed by the flooding and levee breaches. The church was rebuilt in 2006 after a group from Danville, VA named "God's Pit Crew" came and rebuilt it, refurnished it, even re-built the parsonage... We are so thankful for what they have done! People are slowly coming back to the parish and we are prepared to do great things for God! However, since the flood, just getting insurance is a struggle. Our church's insurance alone is nearly $9,000 a year! God has been so faithful though! Thank you for your support! We appreciate all you do for the people of St. Bernard Parish!
