Description
Jeff Lucas was a Navy SEAL killed in Afghanistan on June 28, 2005. He was a beloved son, grandson, nephew, cousin, husband, father, friend and hero of many. A great athelete from Corbett High School in the Columbia River Gorge of Oregon, he is fondly remembered as the 4th grader who chose his career when he wrote a paper on the military special forces and selected the SEALs as the only one for him. He leaves behind his wife, Rhonda, a little son, Seth, and a grieving family. Corbett HS as a student body of 185 and has never had a stadium but the community has been working to honor Jeff since his death with fund raisers of all types including an annual golf tournament played with great humor because golf was the one sport Jeff could NOT do!
