Description
Since 1970, the Conway County Center for Exceptional Children has provided high quality services for individuals with developmental delays or disabilities and their families. It is our mission, while recognizing individual strengths, to enable all persons served to achieve their individual potential through the implementation of developmental and age appropriate activities designed to meet specific needs. The CCCEC is comprised of three divisions spread across two counties: ACTION Services, located in Conway County, Beginnings, located in Conway County and Step-by-Step, located in Perry County. Each plays a vital role in the overall success of the Center and in order to serve the diverse clientele, each division has a special focus. ACTION centers its efforts on adults, while Beginnings and Step-by-Step serve the early childhood demographic. In our efforts to fully serve the Clients, the CCCEC provides a wide range of services including: Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Nursing, Transportation and Nutrition, to name a few! The Center is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that strives to make our community a better place.
