Description

Consumer Directed Choices, Inc. is an organization that supports Consumers - people with disabilities and senior citizens - who use Consumer Directed Personal Assistance (CDPA). CDPA is an alternative home care model that empowers Consumers with a personal care need to hire, train, supervise and manage their own personal care assistants. With the expertise of the “end users” of home health care, CDC is the genuine Consumer directed program. We have served over 1,100 Consumers who have employed over 4,000 Personal Assistants since CDC become operational in December 2001. CDC is the leader in CDPA in the Greater Capital District, serving Albany, Columbia, Greene, Saratoga and Schenectady Counties.
