Description
The Minneapolis Mediation Program (MMP) is a community-based, nonprofit organization formed in 1981 and incorporated as a 501(c)(3) organization in 1983. MMP exists to provide a forum for resolution when traditional methods fail or are inappropriate to a particular situation. We help people help themselves by providing a process that helps them solve their own disputes and create their own resolutions.
Mission: Strengthen communities by teaching and providing mediation and conflict resolution services.
Purpose: To provide a community-based service in Minneapolis, St. Anthony, Edina, Eden Prairie, Richfield and Bloomington, Minnesota, for resolving individual, neighborhood and community-wide conflicts, concerns and disputes through voluntary mediation, facilitation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. The program may, as resources permit, provide education to the communities it serves in the theory and practice of mediation and alternative dispute resolution.
