Description
Condos for Kids provides terminally ill children and their families with a vaction from the pressures and stresses of the hospitals, doctors and the overall day-to-day challenges they face with their illnesses. We accomplish this by providing the children and their families with a week long all-expenses paid vacation in a donated luxury vaction condominum or home. Our first chapter is in Destin, Florida, where visiting children are able to spend the week on the beach with their families. Typical progam activities for a visiting child and family will include dolpin cruises, 'zookeeper for the day', sunset family portraits, kids pottery classes, trips to Gulfairum, massages for mom, golf for dad, dinner gift certificates at area resturants, movie passes, ice cream gift certificates, Build-a-Bear gift certficiates, bike rentals, grocery gift cerficiates, art and craft basket, and pre-paid bank cards for incidental expenses.
