Changing lives and strengthening low-income communities are a few of the outcomes of our work.
Along the journey of serving others in New Haven’s poorest neighborhoods, Concepts for Adaptive Learning has had the honor of helping disadvantaged, public school children improve their education, by increasing their parents’ involvement in their education, and by extending learning beyond the classroom. We have empowered parents, not with words, but by teaching them technology literacy and giving them a recycled computer, which we installed in their homes. They now have access, in their home, to a wealth of information available on the Internet They are now better positioned to compete in school and at work, and improve their quality of life, not just for today, but on their path of life-long learning.
Our mission is to improve the education of public school children, by empowering teachers and parents with technology skills, and integrating technology in their schools and homes
