Companion Animal Rescue League (CARL) was born in 2003 when a group of like-minded people got together and established a nonprofit organization. Animals in need were brought into member’s homes to be fostered until they could find a forever home; and other people who found animals in need were invited to share our resources. Through the years, the group has grown and has rescued over 1,000 dogs and cats.
CARL does not operate a shelter; all pets are individually cared for by foster “parents” in our own homes. Every animal that we take in receives testing and vaccinations, spay or neuter, microchip, and medical care as needed
