Description

Community Shares, a 501c (3) partnership of 25 local organizations, is dedicated to building social and economic equity and a healthy environment. In 2006, we were recognized by CityBeat Magazine as 2005 Persons of the Year for the work we do to improve our community. We act as a conduit between people and their passion connecting caring donors with local organizations that are positively changing people’s lives every day. Since its inception, Community Shares of Greater Cincinnati has raised and distributed nearly $2 million and assisted over 450,000 people. Our strength as a member of Community Shares USA, a 40-city federation of 1000 member organizations, gives us national presence while producing outstanding local results.
