Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA), founded in 1968, is a non-profit arts education organization committed to providing ARTS FOR ALL, regardless of age, skill level, ability or economic means. The school reaches 40,000+ people annually and is among the top 10 schools of its kind in the US. At CSMA's Finn Center campus, programs in music, visual arts and new media are provided through lessons, classes and camps, as well as through free concerts, lectures and exhibitions. CSMA also provides arts-in-the-schools programs at 25+ public and private schools, as well as special community outreach events. The school provides financial aid to qualifying students and families through tuition assistance, merit scholarships, work-study opportunities, and program subsidies.
