Description

A Chicago-based nonprofit whose aim is to strengthen the voice and power of low-income families from the school and community levels to the public policy arena. COFI is eleven-year-old organization that achieves its mission by implementing a model of leadership development and community building that we call Family Focused Community Organizing. This model has been used to train thousands of low-income parents to be vocal and powerful agents of change in their schools and communities.
