Now in our 99th year, CMCB is an accredited non-profit music school in Boston's lively and multicultural South End. We provide excellent music education, music therapy, and performance opportunities to individuals and groups of all ages and abilities, transforming lives citywide. CMCB serves more than 5,000 students each week, on-site in our South End facility at the Boston Center for the Arts and in nearly 40 outreach sites, including Boston Public Schools and wide-ranging social service agencies. In keeping with our settlement school roots, our student body is multicultural, primarily from underserved urban neighborhoods and in financial need. We are the largest provider of arts education in the BPS, reaching 4,500 students each week in more than 20 elementary and middle schools. CMCB also operates a satellite with a full range of performance instruction at Boston Latin School. CMCB will turn 100 years old in 2010! More at www.cmcb.org.
