Description
A non profit agency helping victims of domestic violence find a safe home away from their abuser. We also support low to moderate income families with emergency utility and rental assistance, and other supplemental support in the form of our food cupboard, and clothes cupboard. Community Housing Services also has a unique feature in that we are one of the few agencies that provides transitional housing to single homeless males in Montgomery County. In an effort to supplement our funding sources we opperate "Decorators Corner" a thrift shop that was recently relocated, and is struggling to regain a positive cash flow. Over the past 22 years CHS has aquired a vast number of programs to help the community in need, and we need the continued support of the community to do so.
