The mission of Community Health Awareness Group (CHAG) is to “address current health issues and concerns of African-American citizens of Detroit, to provide compassionate and nonjudgmental services through culturally appropriate and ethnically sensitive programs, and to develop effective ways of promoting and implementing positive health strategies to influence the overall quality of life of the African-American community”.
