Description

Community Caregivers of Greater Derry is a nonprofit human services agency located in Derry, New Hampshire.

Caregivers provides, through a volunteer network, support and assistance to help the elderly and disabled remain independent in their homes and in their communities.

These free services include transportation to medical appointments, friendly visiting, grocery shopping, light chores, prescription pick-ups and other errands, telephone reassurance, and respite.

Caregivers also operates a Loaner's Closet, which is a supply of durable medical equipment loaned out to anyone in the community, free of charge.

Through donations of time and energy, Caregivers' volunteers allow the elderly and disabled residents of six towns preserve their independence and maintain a dignified lifestyle.
