Description
The mission of Community Association of Progressive Dominicans (ACDP) is to promote and develop the physical, emotional, social and economic well-being of the residents of Upper Manhattan, the Bronx, and New York City by facilitating community empowerment through education, provision of human services, and the development of individual skills and community leadership.
The Department of Education and Youth Development Overarching Goal is to address the needs of the targeted at-risk students and their families through a comprehensive, in-school support and after school programs of academic and enhanced enrichment learning activities to improve students’ social, emotional, physical and academic growth.
Our vision is to provide access to high quality programs designed to improve student’s academic achievement in a school-based setting.
