Community Assistance Network after school programs are located in Hillendale, Lansdowne and Rosedale, Maryland.
Total enrollment for all three programs ranges from 125 to 135 low-income children ages six to 16.
Programs emphasize learning and academics; social skills and behavior; family and community responsibility.
The programs are offered Monday through Friday during the late afternoon hours when children are most likely to be left alone and unsupervised after the school day ends.
Funds raised through this resource will be used to purchase program appropriate materials and supplies benefiting the children.
