Description
The Community After-School Program is a state certified childcare program with a mission to provide safe and affordable childcare for children of workinf and student parents and guardians. Our goal is to reduce the number of children that are unsupervised or under poor supervision during the hours before and after school, providing children with healthy alternatives to, and insulation from risk taking behaviors.
We currently serve 435 children at six sites locations in the Albany area. We are the only non-profit childcare facility that offers a sliding fee scale and family discounts. We open at 6:45am and close at 6:00pm, to meet the needs of working families. We also offer full day care on teacher in-service days, winter, spring and summer school breaks.
