Community Action Network partners with children, youth and families from under-resourced Washtenaw County neighborhoods to create better futures for themselves, and improve the communities in which they live
What We Do
CAN advocates for and empowers residents to discover their strengths and opportunities to make positive choices and offers the tools to reduce or eliminate the personal, social, and institutional barriers to success. CAN is committed to providing culturally diverse programs and services by a sensitive and diverse staff.
CAN works to educate the community, provides food (over 18,000 meals each year), collaborates with health care, dental, and vision professionals, advocates on behalf of residents on housing issues, and promotes community building.
