Communities In Schools of Carteret County (CIS) is part of the nation's leading dropout prevention organization in the country. Our mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. Since 2006, CIS of Carteret County has raised over $1 million for the children of Carteret County and has served over 2400 students.
