Mission Statement
The mission of CISDR is to help students at risk of failure stay in school, achieve academically and graduate, to become productive and contributing members of our communities.
CISDR campus and case managers often work before school or after school, but are always present on the school campus between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., five days per week, offering a safe haven for children in need. CISDR’s degreed professional staff identifies the barriers each child faces, dismantles them, assesses the student’s strengths and builds on them. This individualized strength-based approach connects community resources to address deficiencies, positively reshaping each child’s learning environment so he/she receives the support and services necessary to succeed academically and graduate from high school prepared for college and career.
