Description
CIS of Northeast Texas works to remove barriers to success for over 3,000 students who have been identified as at-risk of dropping out of school. CIS of Northeast Texas serves students on 33 rural campuses, in 11 school districts in 6 counties. Trained staff work in the schools to bring existing services to the children and their families to help the students overcome obstacles that might hinder academic success. CIS also helps kids recognize that they have options after high school, and helps them to prepare higher education.
CIS helps kids stay in school, succeed, and prepare for higher education and for life.
