Description
Private nonprofit provides communication access services for deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind and speech disabled individuals and families through telecommunications relay services, video relay services, Community-based American Sign Language Interpreter Referral Services and online remote interpreting services across the country. Direct human service programs include a leadership and literacy camp for middle and high schoolers, independent living, job coaching and employment support, mental health, domestic violence, adult basic education, citizenship training, community education, refugee and immigrant support, health education, tobacco cessation, HIV/AIDS outreach and training, senior citizen programs, transportation services, deaf and hard of hearing advocacy and support, ADA training, lawn care and snow removal services, contact center operations and telecommunications equipment distribution programs (TEDP).
