Description

The mission of Commonwealth Classic Theatre Company(CCTC) is to produce professional theatre with classic and contemporary works that bear witness to the rich variety and commonality of human experience, and to enhance the appreciation of theatre as a humanizing art form through live performances, workshops, readings and educational programs for the community. Over all, our work will emphasize the power of language. Specifically, we will choose to produce works in which the author articulates a powerful humanistic vision expressed in compelling, authentic, and unique linguistic terms. CCTC is dedicated to the ideal that theatre is a vital component of a civil society. Our main program, "Free Theatre in the Parks" brings free theatre to outdoor public spaces during summer.
