Description

A state-wide Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) making loans and offering technical assistance to Colorado Businesses nt yet eligible for bank lending. Celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2006-07, CEF has been recognized by numerous awards in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region. Community banking and investment consortiums in Denver, Boulder, Ft. Collins, and Colorado Springs, foundation support, individual and business contributions, and state and local grants and contracts augment Treasury and SBA lending capital sources. CEF makes loans from $100 TO $200,000. CEF partners with the City and County of Denver to leverage neighborhood development under New Markets Tax Credit financing and collaborates with a variety of community development, investment and financing entities.
