Description
The Colon Cancer Challenge Foundation (CCCF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to a World Without Colorectal Cancer by:
Actively participating in public awareness events and community based groups in order to build awareness of genetic risk factors, the importance of annual screening and prevention.
Sponsoring prevention programs that serve New York City and one or more elements of the mission of the CCCF.
Raising and disbursing funds to programs that provide screening services for uninsured clients and assist them in obtaining services and support to maximize their ability to overcome cancer.
Providing financial support to individuals and organizations that are leading innovative research programs for the prevention and cure of colorectal cancer.
Creating strategic alliances and partnerships with health professionals and community organizations to exchange experiences, develop approaches to improve services, and increase screenings and influence policy makers.
