Description
Collective Roots Garden Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that uses school-based organic gardens to teach students about nutrition and the environment.
The mission of Collective Roots Garden Project is to develop young urban leaders who understand where their food comes from and how their actions impact human and environmental health.
Our programs include
Garden-centered lessons for K-6 classes at East Palo Alto Charter School
Middle School Garden elective course
Weekly after-school Garden Club
Community workdays in the garden
