CCH seeks to end the vicious generational cycle of homelessness impacting the lives of women and children. Our mission is to provide a home in a safe and nurturing environment where homeless women and children obtain support and services needed to achieve self-sufficiency. Since 1998, we have housed and provided supportive services to over 750 of Orange County’s homeless women with children and chronically homeless single women.
We operate 7 shelters in Orange County, CA, serving up to 160 homeless persons. We serve homeless women and children that are without hope, without employment, without family safety nets, and that are entangled in poor decision-making patterns and behaviors.
Our six to nine month program include: individualized self-sufficiency plans; life skill and parenting classes; children's programs; counseling; relapse prevention; and items for physical needs.
