Our mission is to focus on education of responsible pet ownership by educating the public on proper care, neutering and containment of pets. As a program we provide low cost spaying and neutering to low income families, veterans, disabled and elderly. We are proactive with feral cat overpopulation with our TNR policy. These methods prevent further population increases rather than remediating overpopulation by euthanizing animals; with the main goal of a no kill Muskogee City animal shelter.
Since our inception we have neutered over 2000 animals. There remains a large population of unaltered animals, both owned and feral which causes overpopulation.
