Description
Cliff Haven is home to about 230 families located in Plattsburgh, New York on the shore of Lake Champlain. It's rich history includes the site of the nationally known Catholic Summer School of America between the 1890s and the 1940s.
While home to the Catholic Summer School, Cliff Haven was visited by U.S. Presidents McKinley and Taft, Vice President Hobart, Congressional Speaker Joseph Cannon and Theodore Roosevelt as Governor of New York.
The non-profit Cliff Haven Homeowners Association is responsible for managing the Cliff Haven Beach property, working with local government on issues which affect the residents, and promoting a sense of community. It has been in existence since May of 1958.
Welcome to Cliff Haven!
