Clearpool’s Mission is to develop exemplary dual-campus educational environments that are child-centered, family-based and enduring in communities where educational needs are not being met.
One hundred years ago, Clearpool was founded in upstate New York as a camp for boys who did not have the means to escape the hot, crowded city in the summer months. Today, Clearpool is an educational non-profit that partners with under-resourced New York City communities to develop innovative schools and programs that meet the needs of urban youth. Clearpool serves thousands of New York City youth and their families annually through partner schools in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, and a residential campus (formerly the Clearpool Camp) in Carmel, New York.
