Description
We are an intrepid group of teachers who provide teacher-training and classroom education in Afghanistan. We specialize in visiting regions not served by major nonprofits, working directly in classrooms in areas considered risky or remote. Our accomplishments include establishing the first hands-on inquiry science program for Afghan students, leading the first teacher-training in both Ghazni and the remote Zerak valley. Our teachers promote inquiry and investigation while using local materials and lesson plans that are meaningful to the local population. We are also assisting in founding businesses for women in Jalalabad, Ghazni and Kandahar.
