Description
Classrooms On Wheels (COW) is the non-profit umbrella organization formed to support Classroom On Wheels (a mobile preschool created in 1992) and Computers On Wheels (launched in 1996). The two-pronged organization was established to educate and support at-risk preschoolers and their low-income families. Classrooms On Wheels works under the premise that children are entitled to certain fundamental rights, including the right to a happy and healthy childhood free from the ravages of an inadequate education, insufficient medical attention, gang violence, substance abuse, and any other social ill that might prevent them from realizing their potential to the fullest.
