cityWILD provides low-income at-risk youth with outdoor environmental education opportunities that promote leadership, self-efficacy, and community. Through multi-year participation, youth reach their potential at home, in school, and in their community.
cityWILD provides over 150 days of activities per year, afterschool, on weekends, and throughout the summer break. Youth work on professional development, job readiness, academic support, substance abuse prevention, service learning, and financial literacy. High school youth lead middle school youth, providing positive role models, mentoring future leaders.
