    about

Circles of Success Learning Academy (COSLA) is an elementary charter school in Tennessee. COSLA addresses students’ needs by offering an educational environment that provides support tailored to individual student needs in a nurturing, safe, and supportive environment. COSLA’s current student population is 100% African American, with the number of economically disadvantages students enrolling on an increasing trajectory. The challenging needs of educating an increasingly socioeconomically deprived population of students, often below academic proficiency, has presented a need for a paralleled increase in the services rendered at COSLA. To counteract this trend, COSLA provides a holistic approach to education that provides an enriching learning environment. This includes active parent involvement, character and language education, health education, and differentiated instruction, with emphases on brain-based learning, cultural awareness and civic engagement.
