Serves residents in Scott County, Iowa and Rock Island County, Illinois by providing the following:
? 23 Food Pantries (100,000+ visits in 2010)
? 3 nightly Meal Sites 35,000+ free meals in 2010)
? Winnie’s Place, a shelter ministry for women (with or without children) who are homeless
or victims of abuse.
? CROP Walk raising funds to fight hunger locally and globally.
? Volunteer Jail Chaplains in both county jails.
? 5 CareLINK clusters (linking churches to those in need-helping 364 families with $48,998.95 in 2005).
? Advocacy.
? Representation in community-wide events such a Yom HaShoah, Anti-Hate Coalition, Quad City Health Initiative and the Pacem In Terris Award.
? Emergency Funding for housing, medical care, utility payments and other critical needs (helping 30 families with $4,769.41 in 2005).
