Description
The Saturday Tutoring Program at the Church of the Covenant provides free tutoring for students in grades 1-12 from school districts throughout the Greater Cleveland area.
The program's main goals are to:
1) help students improve their grades and pass required tests, including the Ohio Graduation Test.
2) create a small-group learning environment where tutors can help students build self esteem and realize the value of education and community involvement.
3) organize special events and field trips that enrich the students' education and broaden their horizons.
