Description
The Chuck Mathena Center is dedicated to serving Southern West Virginia and Southwest Virginia with the presentation of performing and visual arts, outreach and education. The center is a facility where citizens from our region's communities will claim ownership, partnership, and feel welcome through a divers and active programming and event schedule.
Children will gain knowledge, confidence, and encouragement to develop their minds and skills. Chuck Mathena Center will provide all forms of entertainment, conduct workshops and seminars, host community gatherings, and provide a meeting place for all who want to dream, grow, produce, learn, share and enjoy culture.
The CMC is a 1,000 seat auditorium with theatrical quality acoustics, a gallery area for artistic exhibits, and a Grand Hall for weddings, receptions, class reunions, and other community functions.
CMC is a 501c3 nonprofit organization
