Description

CHPM is an ecumenical Christian organization devoted to the restoration of individuals and families by providing professional mental health services as well as Christian prayer. There are eight licensed professional counselors and one pastoral counselor working together to provide quality services in an environment that is safe, gentle and affordable for those who seek help. In addition to the normal issues of depression, anxiety, and marital conflict, CHPM offers seven distinctive programs: 1. Play Therapy (for ages 3-12), 2. Recovery for compulsive behaviors (internet, pornography, etc.), 3. Mediation and Conflict Resolution, 4. Long-Term Trauma-Based therapy, 5. Prayer Therapy for healing of deeper wounds, 6. Critical Incident Stress Management, and 7. Community Education for direct instruction and/or group therapy sessions as a compliment or alternative to individual therapy. CHPM also provides programs, seminars, and retreats for community organizations.
