Description

Created in 2009 in memory of Christina Savage who passed away on January 27, 2009 after a courageous ten year battle with cancer, Christina’s Garden will develop and promote a free cancer care website. The website will provide cancer patients and their caregivers with information and links to valuable resources, including organizations that provide financial assistance, websites designed to assist with medication schedules, medical bill issues and cancer care education and ways to easily and conveniently keep loved ones up to date on the patient’s status.
Christina’s Garden will also develop programs to assist cancer patients and their loved ones in the Youngstown, Ohio area by utilizing volunteers willing to devote their time and talents to assist and support those in need.
The organization also plans on making annual contributions to other organizations with similar interests and goals.
