Description

Christ Community Health Services Augusta (CCHSA) is an independent, Christian non-profit health center. CCHSA's mission is to proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and to demonstrate His love by providing affordable, quality primary health care to the underserved and the uninsured of Augusta, Georgia.
CCHSA offers primary health care for adults and children, as well as compassionate, personalized care. Christ Community Health Services currently has 4 full-time Physicians, and 2 Nurse Practitioners. Uninsured patients are welcome, and are seen on a sliding fee scale starting at $25 per visit. The sliding fee scale is based on the Federal Poverty Guidelines (household size and income). CCHSA is also open to Medicaid and Medicare patients. Over 75% of Christ Community Health Services' patients are uninsured, reflecting the need of the more than 71,000 people in CCHSA's surrounding counties without health insurance. Since opening in November 2007, CCHSA has logged over 28,000 patients visits.
