Description
Choose Life is a non profit agency organized in 1981. The Pregnancy Test Center (our primary program) provides free pregnancy tests and lay-counseling. Women have come to us from all walks of life…teenage girls seeking guidance about choices, single mothers in need of material assistance, women dealing with decisions they regret, teens with frank questions about sex, and parents who need help communicating complex issues to their children. We provide a practical response to our clients, by empowering them with knowledge to make wise choices. We also provide pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, maternity clothing, newborn layettes, baby clothes, diapers, formula, assistance for prenatal care, and referrals to other community organizations that can provide appropriate assistance. All of our services are provided at no charge to our clients. Our impact in the Huntsville community is substantial, because we average over 3,500 clients per year.
