CHOICES is a student success program to prevent at-risk teens from dropping out of school by increasing their positive school engagement--all while developing connections between local business, education, and civic organizations in support of higher student achievement. CHOICES cost effectively engages community partnerships with a focus on helping young people prepare for higher education, work, and citizenship.
Formed in 1985, The CHOICES Education Group's volunteers have brought a message called CHOICES into the classroom--delivering to more than six million students in the U.S., Canada, and Australia. Today, CHOICES serves more than 700 teens every school day (150,000 students served per year) with 1,500 volunteers at 185 sites in 40 states—all at a cost less than $5 per teen.
